Spent about an 1-2 hours on each class.

Tried to keep a consistent theme throughout while still trying not to repeat the same details in each class.

That is an amazing use of statistics for artistic intent! Did you get all of that from the TF2 Wiki? It looks like you've implemented TF2 stuff from all over, including from the game itself (aren't those weapon icons that show how one player killed another?).

My only qualm, and this is mostly minor anal-retentive detail-quibbling, is that this has a seriously futuristic look to it while TF2 is set in the 1960s or something around that time, so it doesn't really mesh too well. However, if some kind of exterminator robot from the future winds up in the game and starts scanning the classes, we'd know what it sees.

In fact, they're very informative and certainly more pleasant for the eyes than a huge page of text. I declare this a must-see for any player new to TF2, particularly if they haven't the patience to read through pages that only have words :P

thanks very much for the comment and a nice observation/suggestion with the 1960s style, to be honest the thought never even occurred to me :P I started this project with the medic class just mucking around with it in PS one night the style I used was just one that I have always liked, thinking about it now it would have been interesting to try that theme out across the image instead definitely an idea I will have to keep in mind for any future work on game art for TF2.

The weapon icons in the art are just side shots of the models that I filled in with a flat color, was a bit easier then cutting stuff from screen shots cause I could have them at any size this way.

Oh no problem, I always feel compelled to remark on exemplary work, even if I'm more of a writer than an artist. I also have to point out your use of fonts for the class names. Did you put much thought into them? Only it seems like some of them are very well-suited to the classes (i.e. a bold soviet russia-ish font for the heavy and the fiery words for the pyro). Although I must mention two things. One, the Demoman's is really messed up, and does it say "Demoamn"? Also, you've made the D most prominent in "meDic", intentional because of the pronunciation?
:iconsyn-k:
yea I hunted round the net trying to find a font for each class, some where easy like the heavy and the soldier others I had to think a lil more about, the medics font is like an old typewriter style and certain letters where larger and so on, the demomans font Im not really happy with but was the only one I could find that suited his style.

This is friggin awesome!
I'd never be able to pend this much time on something like this.
And the descriptions are very well done. Great job!
